Columbia Basin Culture Tour

Makes Me Smile
Pottery by Theresa LeRose

Wheel and slab pottery

My work begins as a basic form. Using colour, texture and shape altering, I attempt to transform it into something that is both functional and art. I am constantly trying different techniques to push the clay as a medium. During the tour, I will have finished works to view and purchase. In addition, I will be working on my wheel all day. Questions about what I am doing on the wheel or what I have on display are always welcome.
