Columbia Basin Culture Tour

Sandra Donohue

Painting; Weaving; Spinning studio

I paint representationally in watercolour, acrylic, oil and pastel. Subjects I like to paint include flowers, still life and landscapes. I've been weaving for over 40 years and painting for 20.

Light and colour are what draw me to the subjects. I particularly enjoy making the ordinary extraordinary. In weaving I create functional pieces, mainly tea towels. Using them elevates a mundane task.
