Columbia Basin Culture Tour

Crazy Ravens Studio
Paula Cravens

Contemporary; Acrylic; Collage; Bright

I like to move back and forth between painting and collage. Creating collage elements is exciting and surprising. I continue to experiment with painting in acrylics, focusing on colour and texture. I am very drawn to old photos of bathers in their swimming caps and retro swimsuits. I feel they have a relaxed attitude toward their body images that I find refreshing. I also like chickens.

During the tour, I will show with the Slocan Valley Community Arts Council at Crescent Valley Community Hall on Hwy. 6. I will present a gelli print demonstration.
