Columbia Basin Culture Tour

Wigle Designs
Elaine Wigle-Kratz

Fabricated sterling silver jewellery

A Wigle Design piece of jewellery is made solely by my hands. From the smallest jump ring to my toggle closures, each component is created with the intention of unifying the overall design. Casting my wax carvings allows me the opportunity to explore simple ideas and production work. Fabrication provides me a means to explore the relationship between metal, stones, fossils, minerals and pearls, ranging from simple concepts to more sculptural explorations.
