Columbia Basin Culture Tour

Creston Museum

Museum; History; Heritage; Performance

We tell great stories! We can explain how Creston got its wacky time zone. We can tell you about the steamship that became a tractor (sort of), the first airplane to land in Creston, and the teacher who refused to be fired. There's "The Great Railway Race" and the "Great Creston Bank Robbery." And have you heard the one about the imaginary student in Grade 13?

Really, we're not making this up. Why would we? Truth is so much better than fiction!

Admission to the Museum is free as part of the Culture Tour. Please note: On Saturday, August 12, the Museum is hosting "A Royal Visit" at our annual Afternoon Tea. Guests on the Culture Tour are welcome to watch the performance; however, seating at the Tea and refreshments are NOT included as part of the Culture Tour. Tickets for the Tea are available for $10 per person. Seatings will be at 1, 2, and 3 pm, and reservations are highly recommended.
