gallery 2, previously known as
the Grand Forks Art Gallery, is
now located in the landmark
former provincial courthouse
building and serves as the
primary public visual arts and
heritage exhibition centre for
the Boundary region of British
Columbia.
Since its inaugural exhibition
in 1984 the gallery has hosted
more than 450 exhibitions of
local, regional, national, and
international artists. The
gallery is respected among its
peers for the quality and
professionalism of its
exhibitions and more than 16,000
visitors tour the gallery
annually. The Permanent
Collection exceeds 250 works,
documenting and preserving art
history and cultural heritage as
a community legacy. gallery 2 is
home to a wonderful Gift Shop
specializing in locally and
provincially made products.
